Japan (color) 1968

In 1967 and 68 I spent a year attending the International Division of Waseda University in Tokyo, Japan.
The color photos are mostly the things many tourists photograph, but I hope some viewers will appreciate them enough in spite of this. A few are of oddities that I have included for the opposite reason; they represent a Japan that few tourists experience but emblematic of Japan all the same. The black & white photos (in a separate section) are more of the latter category, but some cultural cliches as well. I apologize for not editing out the motes and scratches, but after nearly a year of Photoshop I am leaving some of these for “later”.
